The game

Shut the Box is free. You do not need an account. We may change, pause or stop the game at any time.

Play fair

Please do not try to break, overload or copy the site, or use it to harm anyone.

No money, no prizes

The game has no stakes, bets or prizes. It is played for fun only.

Who owns what

The game, its pictures, words and code belong to Property Investments (UK) Limited, except parts used under open licences, which are listed with the game. You may share pictures of your own results.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the game running and correct, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, for example for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

This domain is for sale

The domain is for sale, and the game is available by negotiation. If the owner changes, these terms and the other pages will be updated to name the new owner.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere you keep any rights the law where you live gives you.
